Providing children with a safe and supportive place to learn is essential to building strong communities, and our third school project brings us to Gyan Chakshu Primary School, located in Tipche Bhanjyang, Ward No. 2, within Mahankal Rural Municipality in South Lalitpur, Nepal. This school serves as an important educational foundation for children in a rural area where access to proper facilities remains limited.

Gyan Chakshu Primary School currently educates 45 students from play group through grade 3 and is supported by a dedicated team of four staff members. Despite their commitment to nurturing young learners, the school faces significant challenges due to the lack of adequate infrastructure. Limited classroom space and insufficient facilities make it difficult to provide an environment that supports focused learning and student well-being.

To address these needs, the school requires the construction of a new building with five classrooms. These classrooms will provide students with a safe, structured, and weather-resistant environment where learning can take place consistently and without disruption. Adequate classroom space is critical for young students as they begin their educational journey and develop essential skills for future success.

In addition to classroom construction, the school is in need of proper toilet and bathroom facilities for students. Access to clean and safe sanitation is vital for health, dignity, and daily comfort, particularly for young children. The addition of these facilities will greatly improve the overall learning environment and help ensure students can attend school safely and confidently each day.

Early education plays a crucial role in shaping a child’s future, and investing in schools like Gyan Chakshu Primary School helps create a lasting impact beyond the classroom. This project reflects our commitment to providing a hand up, not a hand out, by empowering communities through sustainable building efforts that meet real and immediate needs.

If you would like to support this project through a donation, your contribution will directly help fund the construction of classrooms and essential sanitation facilities. Every donation makes a meaningful difference, helping create a safe, healthy, and inspiring place where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
