Shree Kalidevi School

Access to safe and supportive learning environments is essential for young children. This school project brings us to Shree Kalidevi Primary School, located in Jyamire, Ward No. 3, within Mahankal Rural Municipality in South Lalitpur, Nepal. This primary school plays a vital role in its community by providing foundational education for children during their most formative years.

Shree Kalidevi Primary School currently serves 40 students, offering classes from play group through grade 3. With a small but committed team of four staff members, the school works diligently to meet the educational needs of its students. However, limited infrastructure and facilities make it difficult to provide a safe, comfortable, and effective learning environment for these young learners.

To better support its students and staff, the school is in need of a new building that includes six classrooms constructed on readymade foundations, complete with a concrete roof, plaster, and proper painting. These classrooms will create a durable and weather-resistant space where students can learn without interruption, ensuring stability and consistency in their daily education.

In addition to classroom space, the school urgently needs the construction of proper toilet and bathroom facilities for students. Access to clean and safe sanitation is essential for health, dignity, and overall well-being, especially for young children. These facilities will significantly improve daily life at the school and help create a more hygienic and supportive environment for learning.
